The Sova Hostel development responds to northern cold climate challenges in achieving net zero energy use.    This environmentally responsive facility utilize super green envelopes: R40+ double walls, R80  arctic roofs, and triple and quad windows—powered by the sun.

The energy efficient systems employed will be highlighted as a key component of the development—to promote and establish the Takhini Hot Springs Resort as a sustainable Eco Village Resort.
