Shouldice Estates is a master concept plan for the  phased  725 residential unit development of a 37 acre, 10 lot site—adjacent to Shouldice Park and the Bow River.

The proposed housing concept groups dwelling into clusters not exceeding three storeys to be  built on a platformed infrastructure above the flood plain elevation.  Parking is below the platform, out of the way, close to the dwellings, freeing up land for extensive landscaped open space.  The plan establishes a 200' riverbank setback dedicated as an environmental and municipal reserve for a continuous public green amenity space.
